Malcolm graduated in civil engineering and went on to spend 45 years in consultancy providing advice on walking and bicycle infrastructure to state and local governments.
A resident of the Peninsula since 1993 he has been active in local the local community particularly through the Mornington Church of Christ and through the Coach and Soar programs where for ten years, he mentored fathers and sons from disadvantaged backgrounds.
His interests include bird photography, caravanning, public policy and grandchildren. Now in retirement he has devoted his energies to encouraging people to show compassion for those doing it tough.
He has been the Secretary of Peninsula Voice since its inception.
